Close to town centre and walking distance to everything

The room was ok but it was next to the main road and there was a lot of noise outside because nightclub and takeaways the bedroom window was dirty there was no curtain on the bathroom window the handle on the bath was loose and the toilet seat was as well could not park car in car park at hotel had to park distance away and had to pay around £20.00 in total to leave it over night and during the day the hotel could do with a bit of a uplift bit dated breakfast was ok but the eggs where cold fried bread was a bit fatty

    Faded grandeur. Good public rooms.

Very poor bedroom. Cold shower. Food too basic but catering for coach tours in winter.

The room was ok. Outdated tv no phone in room. Hote as a whole run down and not very clean. Never seen so many cobwebs on lights. Breakfast was desgusting and cold. Wont be staying again. We usualy stay at premier in. will be staying there in the future. Entetainment at the metropole was not worth the time of day unless your drunk. How do they justify over 10 pounds for 2 drinks. Never again.

Staff attitudes to each other and guests were hostile, standard of rooms were not good, menu had little choices and dining room was dirty and cutlery needs replacing , lifts smelt of urine, the list is endless , overall very disappointed and will not recommend to anyone .

Very dirty had to change rooms and when I did had to have some funiture removed because it was so badly stained on servicing my room cleaning products were left in my room (mark hazardous) very smelly very old and run down dinner service not entertained - due to table lay up ie bread potions already on table prior to opening of service this questions freshness of their food products live entertainment minimal you blink and you'd miss it, however those people who did see were not happy I have never seen so many people complain about a hotel before, however the staff seemed unaware of anything

We had a good sea view room. Very convenient for shows and shopping

Staff seemed unhappy and not very friendly.however this wouldn't stop us Using the hotel again. As regular customers of the grand in Llundudno We expected the same kind of service that we get there but this was the case. Perhaps the metropole is a lot bigger and we felt it was a bit like a conveyor belt on which we were just a number. Since returning home we have recommended the hotel to some friends

    the weather !

The room was small had a hole in the windowsill the bathroom fan didn't work and the view was of 3 rotten brick walls and bird sh*t ,the tv hed tap holding it togeather

Location excellent, room clean and very comfortable, good value for money.

Was put off slightly by attitude of one of the receptionists, the booking form stated we could book in at 3pm, the receptionist appeared to take great pleasure in telling us to come back at 3.30pm giving no explanation. We then had to walk around Blackpool until 3.30pm we had already waited in the town until 3pm and wanted to get into room to leave bags and get changed. I felt she was very rude and off putting.

The location, entertainment, but we do miss the organist for dancing

    No organist

The hotel is close to the town and the tower. My husband and i only stayed for bed and breakfast, that was nice. the hotel is big and very spacious. Lift to all floors. Service at the bar, fairly quick. i would use this hotel again, as i use this for quickness for the town and nightlife. The rooms are basic, clean, but some rooms have quite a bit of damp.

Some of the staff seem to have attitude problem and come across as quite rude. The lift goes to all floors, but once you are out of the lift you can walk a far distance to your rooms, going up and down small stairs and walking long corridors. the breakfast is nice, but wouldn't recommend the evening meal, the fish was cheap frozen fish, pasta dishes not nice and meat very tough. Its just as cheap to eat out rather than pay extra for the evening meal. The hotel is big, but apart from the bar, theres not a lot to do in there. Ok for just chilling or using it as a base just to sleep. We stayed on the lower ground, we couldnt get a signal on our phone, the other rooms on the floors we could. Wouldnt recommend the lower ground.

The location was the best as well as the food as much as you can eat

Cleanliness wasnt really bad but the staff could do with a shake down

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. We especially liked the location of the Hotel for access to the Tower and shops etc. Being able to park our car close to the Hotel was good as my wife is partially disabled and the closeness made it easier to access the car.

We thought the food in the Premier Restaurant would have been of a higher standard, but was ok. Guests having no thought for the appearance at the front door stamping out cigarettes on pathway, and in the gravel at the side. Perhaps your Manager will have a look at these.

Old and run down, just not a comfortable place for us to stay in.
